Welcome

The Office of the Associate Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for leading the efforts to build and grow the strategic mission of Human Resources for the university system. We are dedicated to creating and maintaining an infrastructure of Human Resource professionals to partner with the leadership and employees of schools, colleges, and divisions within the university. We provide advice and counsel regarding HR matters, and strive to deliver excellent customer service to all areas while bringing discipline to the processes. We direct the operations of the Departments of Total Compensation and Wellness, Employment Service Center, Organization and Employee Development and HR Systems Support and the work performed out of the Office of the Associate Vice President.

Summer Health Extravaganza!: June 26 2013 at 10:00 AM

We're excited to announce our first annual Summer Health Extravaganza! The Wellness Warriors Program invites all benefits-eligible WSU employees to our Summer Health Extravaganza on June 26 in Student Center's Hilberry A/B/C from 10-1:30p! We're thrilled to have various health vendors and screenings for you to participate in, including: Cholesterol/Glucose Screening* (Call 831-2008 for your appt!) ($30 Non-Wellness Warriors) Smoothie Station Chiropractor Screenings Massage Chairs Hearing Screenings Wii Sports Games Fitness Testing Wellness Coaching Raffles, Prizes, and More ALL SCREENINGS ARE FREE FOR WELLNESS WARRIORS.*Appointment Required. Please call University Pharmacy at 313-831-2008 to make an appointment for a cholesterol/glucose screening. All other screenings DO NOT require an appointment.All WSU benefits-eligible employees are invited to attend! There is a $30 cost for cholesterol/glucose for non-Wellness Warriors. ALL other screenings and stations are FREE.DISCLAIMER: Screenings are not to take place of your doctor visits. Please consult with your doctor or pharmacist prior to your fasting screening if you have any questions. Water and black coffee are allowed before a fasting screening. Please fast for 8-10 hours prior to your cholesterol/glucose screening.
