- October 15 2008 at 6:00 PMLA SEDThis program is for prospective undergraduate students and their parents. At the Information Night, students will attend presentations from Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Chicano-Boricua Studies Program. There will also be opportunities to speak with representatives from each of these offices and members of WSU Latin Fraternities and Sororities.

The event offers presentations from offices and departments such as Admissions and Financial Aid, campus tours, the chance to speak with representatives from various programs, and more! - Scholars Day Suggested Application Deadline
- December 15 2008Main CampusScholars Day is a series of invitation-only events for the university's most promising incoming freshmen. The Irvin d. Reid Honors College selects its freshman class from those that participate in Scholars Day. All students that are invited to and participate in Scholars Day will receive at least a $1,500 scholarship, renewable for up to four years. The Scholars Day program for students entering WSU in Fall 2009 will take place in February 2009.In order to be considered for an invitation to Scholars Day, students must have a cumulative 3.5 grade-point average at the end of junior year and be admitted to the university by January 15. Students are selected to receive an invitation based on the application for admission to the university; there is no additional Scholars Day application.To ensure sufficient processing time, it is suggested that students submit all admission application materials by December 15.
